Standard XI Formations
4-4-3 · Balanced
1 WK, 4 BAT, 4 AR, 3 BOWL. Spread credit across roles. Best for grand league contests.
4-3-4 · Batting-heavy
1 WK, 4 BAT, 3 AR, 4 BOWL. Higher aggregate ceiling but less balanced.
3-4-4 · Bowling-heavy
1 WK, 3 BAT, 4 AR, 4 BOWL. Death-bowling stack. Best for bowler-friendly pitches.
3-3-5 · AR-heavy
1 WK, 3 BAT, 5 AR, 2 BOWL. Differential ceiling. Risky but high upside.
100 credits, 11 players
Allocate credits across 11 slots. Don't blow 50 credits on 3-4 stars — you need 8 other picks. Leave 1-2 credits spare for last-minute swaps.
Build Your Optimal XI
Pick formation, allocate credits, lock your XI 30 minutes before toss. Captain 2x is the single biggest decision.
Team Builder FAQ
How many credits should I leave spare?
1-2 credits spare gives you swap flexibility before lock. Some operators allow one-player swap if injury news breaks. Spare credits help.
Should I spend big on captain or spread credit?
Spread credit. Captain 2x multiplies whatever you spend on them. A 9cr captain with 70 fp beats a 11cr captain with 65 fp — better differential.
Which formation is best?
Depends on contest size. Mega contests → 4-3-4 (ceiling). H2H → 4-4-3 (balanced). Grand league → 3-4-4 (differential). Match formation to contest.
Can I have 2 same-role captains?
No — captain must be one player, vice-captain must be another. Both cannot be from same role on some operators. Check your operator's rules.
